Company history
2002
Our history began in the US in 2002. Back then it would be more appropriate to call us a startup. The company consisted of a few people, primarily our close friends and acquaintances. But even then we were confident that we could offer quality technical solutions as an art form. This is how the company got its name: “iTechArt” stands for Information, Technologies, Art.
2008
Six years later, the company officially became Techartgroup LLC. At first, the founders did coding for customers and developed the business. Everything changed once the company became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. The status worked in our favor, and we acquired new clients through word-of-mouth.
2009
A Google subsidiary entrusted iTechArt with a large Java-based project. We needed more people to complete it, so we grew to 40 people. We also expanded our presence in the USA: that’s when we hired our first American sales reps.
2010
In the space of a few months, we formed a full-fledged sales team in the
USA.
We also gained new high-profile customers, such as Gain Capital (Forex.com),
a financial market expert who highly valued our mobile development
expertise. This marked the beginning of cooperation between iTechArt and
FinTech companies.
2011
As the performance of computers and browsers improved, the company needed more front end programmers. So we launched courses for experienced developers, with our engineers acting as instructors. This is how iTechArt started growing its front end expertise.
2012
More fast-growing companies joined the ranks of our clients. iTechArt decided to continue focusing on work with ambitious startups. We formed a HR department, developed internal training programs, and launched Students Lab courses in .NET, Java, PHP, Mobile and QA.
2013
As the company got to 300 employees, the number of our projects likewise grew. iTechArt gained an international reputation as a company with top-notch development and testing engineers.
2014
In summer, the company initiated an internal hackathon: 14 teams took 24 hours to write software that improved life in the office.
2015
The company began forming an internal knowledge base, with materials from internal Dev2Dev training sessions used as the foundation.
We held the first iTechForum — a large tech conference and coding competition. Our team grew to 470 people.
2016
In summer, we held another iTechForum tech conference, with 300 participants forming 13 teams developing projects on the topic of smart cities.
At the end of the year, the company sponsored the New York Nasdaq Startup CTO Summit. By this point, the number of our employees grew to over 600 people.
2017
In 2017, iTechArt expanded to new locations: in May we opened the New York office for the sales team, and in July the first Belarusian regional office, in Mogilev. By the end of the year, new offices opened in Belarusian cities of Brest, Vitebsk, and Grodno.
Dev2Dev training switched to a webinar format. And in summer, we held another iTechForum, with a guest from Microsoft, 450 participants, and a Smart Office hackathon for 15 teams.
2018
The company opened an office at Gomel and another one in Minsk. We started the New Year with 1200 people in our team.
Our client list grew to 200+ customers, including more well-known companies such as PayPal, Forex, and Yale University.
We held our fifth two-day iTechForum conference and hackathon. There were over 600 participants and 20 speakers.
2019
We made it into the list of the fastest-growing companies in the USA (Inc5000) as well as top IT companies (Clutch, GoodFirms, AppFutura, Wadline). We held 28 iTechMeetups for developers and testers in 6 cities, and ran 20 more courses at Students Lab. In spring, we opened an office in Polotsk, Belarus; in summer we held a two-day iTechForum and hackathon. We grew to 300+ active clients and 1655 employees.
2020
A tough but exciting year with plenty of heartwarming moments. We opened new locations in Silicon Valley and Poland. We became a Select Consulting Partner for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and were recognized as the Fastest Growing IT Company of the Year at the 2020 IT World Awards. IAOP added us to the list of Global Outsourcing 100® companies for 2020. Once again we made it to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500. And we grew once again: 500 more new employees joined the team.

2021
A year of exponential growth: Our headcount more than doubled, and new iTechArt offices appeared in Poland, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, we have received 10 world-class awards recognizing our contributions in the United States and Europe.
We expanded our partnerships with Amazon, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, and Oracle, and formed new ones with Redis and CTO Craft.
